01. First Year: Induction

Cadets in Developmental Project training

The three-month Induction period (July - September) consists of a general introduction to the Programme and staff. It also includes mandatory participation in the activities-based Developmental Project (click here for more information).

During the nine-month Foundation period that follows, cadets receive instruction in the following academic subjects:
(i) Remedial Reading, English and Math
(ii) Life Skills
(iii) Social Studies
(iv) Music
Cadets at ease in formal uniform (v) Computer Literacy
(vi) Physical Education
(vii) Human & Social Biology
(viii) Religious Education.

Cadets are also introduced to a Military curriculum of:
(i) Drill              (ii) Physical Training
(iii) First Aid     (iv) Navigation
(v) CPR             (vi) Survival Training
(vii) Life Saving

Cadets must also participate in ONE of the following Vocational courses:
(i) Plumbing          (ii) Masonry
(iii) Carpentry      (iv) Welding
(v) Electrical Installation.

02. Second Year: Training

Cadets in vocational training - welding

During their second year, cadets may choose to train in another of the following Vocational courses:
(i) Plumbing          (ii) Masonry
(iii) Carpentry      (iv) Welding
(v) Electrical Installation.

Cadets must also participate in another compulsory Developmental Project activity, and continue their Military Training.

03. Third Year: Training, Graduation

Cadets must participate in another compulsory Developmental Project activity, and complete their Vocational and Military Training.
At the end of their third year, cadets may enroll in On-The-Job Training or enlist in one of the Ministry of National Security's Protective Services.
